Starting again by the channel
across the bridge and above railroad with a chance to catch a look of Thai trains
Pretty common style in old town (and not only in Thailand as I will see later)
Skytrain end (or start if you want to) station. And this giant butterflies!
I took steps to get such a view. From this point city is younger with each block, constantly got higher and vividly to transform into very modern and westernized megapolis.
However it's still Thailand and still touristy, so you can easily stop for a Thai massage =)
I did exactly that and had no regrets. Procedure I took was quite surprising and worth another small post.
Another amazing graffiti on the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre's wall
and its expansion (greater in all senses).
MBK Center, which is a huge mall and conglomerate of everything from fashion boutiques to street food stalls, lies on the other side of the road from previous point and offeres also music playground.
I could not resist to stop and listen to guys performing there.
Short video
And for sure I had no chance to not take a shot of this ad.
These guys (and gals) should be gurus of IT :)
Lumphini park, very pleasant place to stop and take a break from city hustle.
People visit this park not only to rest beside its green areas or lake, but to run around or stop at one of largest open-air gyms in Bangkok.
City is going into skyscrapers area
with multi-level junctions
and finally, Bangkok's iconic MahaNakhon building in the middle of Silom business district.
That's most of the things that I want to show about my visit to Bangkok...
Only few last shots:
The hotel where I stopped during these days (again, it's located in old town and its neighborhood differs a lot from previously shown areas)
A bit of a view from 22nd floor with
Album with all photos and videos from Bangkok.
Next stop in Singapore!
