-And then there is Lauri Törni aka soldier of three armies.
First he served Finland and was awarded Mannerheim cross, when Finland had to sue for peace he was so strong anti communist that he joined Germans to continue the fight.
After war he migrated to US and after couple years enlisted to military and ended up in green berets.
He died in transporter helicopter accident during Vietnam war.

--The song by Sabaton about him (Soldier of three armies) is rather good. Interestingly enough it's not even mentioned in his English wikipedia page, the Finnish one has it right there at the start though.
